So this came about for a WILDLY different reason than “doing a guide on the Royal Guard armor”, but it ended up this way so [shrug]. I plan on coloring this and adding Nightmare Moon’s Armor from The Cutie Re-Mark but the important thing is mostly getting this all down.

This is a collection of notes on royal guard armor, meant to showcase the differences. OCs were used as demonstrations, all three of which were stripped of their usual outfits. For reasons that made this in the first place, you’ll notice missing cutie marks and mentions of “sprites” - don’t worry about it, those particular notes aren’t important here.

There is a baseline color for Crystal Pony royal guard armor, and in fact their hair comes in multiple colors, but there’s a unified look for Celestia’s guards. Since we don’t see Luna’s guards more than twice (and once being in the Nightmare Moon Ruler timeline, orz), we can’t tell if they have a unified look or not with armor.

Silk Veil has one colored image, I… entirely forgot why I did that, but, you get the prettiest little whorse. More to come soon. Crane Favor’s supposed to be a pegasus but I had to basically turn his wings invisible, which is why there’s that ominous red splotch over his armor.
