Description
While talking to two of my friends - Rosa and Calamity - whom I play MtG with - we realized that we almost precisely fit into the Timmy-Johnny-Spike player axis as described in Mark Rosewater’s legendary post.
So here we have myself, represented by my OC Stumpy as the Timmy, excited to bring fancy, flashy, big monsters to bear.
Followed by Rosa as the Johnny, excited to finagle that one land that makes it so you can’t lose the game.
And finally Calamity, represented by his batpony Blue Blur(hence the pony motif) as the Spike, who insists upon knowing proper threat assessment.
This came to me in a flash of inspiration the likes of which I hadn’t had since I was young. Quite welcome, that.
