I like how Izzy’s bed is essentially just a mattress fitted into a round basket. This is way closer to how ponys’ beds would look than the human-style rectangles we see in the shows and movie. Ponies (real and our Technicolor marshmallow ones) are quadrupeds, so the natural inclination is to curl up into a ball on their sides when they sleep.
