It was a TV show, the episode had a demon going around killing people and the old Indian man kept it from killing even more people by painting the swastikas everywhere to ward it off.

I can understand that, also something that came to mind, one case of something on US TV that pointed out how the swastika was first a symbol for good is the old “supernatural drama” show Kolchak: The Night Stalker episode Horror in the Heights , there is old Indian man painting it all over the place and people call him a nazi, but he’s doing it to protect the place for a demon on the loose

Swastika is a “model of the universe”, let’s say. Nazis used them and it was wrong, very fucking wrong, because swastika is a symbol of the sun and general happiness. Check it out on wikipedia. First swastikas were found around 2500 years BC in Ukraine, as far as I know. Also, check out fractals, they are fun too!
