I initially liked the idea of this one but it doesn’t really go anywhere. I would have liked to see Cadance actually learning something she didn’t know before. Maybe that they are dominated by Equestria and she stands up to Celestia to put a stop to that.

I usually like it when you put real politics in children’s stories (simplified of course) as it does teach them something about the real world. You just need to integrate it well. I never understood the whining about the politics in the SW prequels, I liked it and understood it just fine.
