Please get help. It took me 13 grueling years to find the right therapist and the right medication for me, but I did, and it was worth it. Most people won’t take nearly as long as I did… Air hugs

Is that the comment you meant to reply to? Seems like you’d be replying to one about her wings saving her if she choked or something.

I knew someone whose brother had a situation similar to this. He wanted to die so bad, he hung himself in a garage only several inches from the ground and held his legs up so as not to loosen the noise and be able to breathe. They said there was no way he would’ve died if it weren’t for him crossing his legs midair until he passed out and died.
Personally, I don’t think it would be her fear of her own death that would keep her from fully committing to suicide; it would probably be the dependence her animal friends (and especially Angel Bunny) have on her, and her fear of what horrible fates may befall them when she’s gone. Much like Seymour waited for Fry to come back at the end of that one Futurama episode, she knows that most (if not all) of her animal friends would probably starve to death while waiting for her to return, but she never would. I just can’t see Shy doing that to them.
Coward? No. More like a hero for having the courage to save the yellow Pegasus friend her friends have, the sister of her siblings, and the daughter of her parents.
Even if it was only a reflex, or even just part of her unavoidable struggling for air as she choked, it’s still just as admirable as the person who saves their friend’s life with a reflex.

Get something to eat, maybe go for a jog away from people, remind yourself what you do have going for you. It’s what helps me when I feel suicidal.
