Biography: Erich Mühschnabel never had to work hard to earn his bread. As the second son of a wealthy industrialist, Erich could spend the rest of his life in luxury. His childhood was spent in bliss and happiness, as Erich received the best tutors that money could buy.
He turned out to be intelligent and inquisitive, and would have been a worthy successor to the family business, if not for his older sister. Irene Mühschnabel was a little more cunning than her Brother, she always managed to look more dignified in the eyes of her Parents than Erich.
When the Time came, Irene entered the University of Middenheim, and Erich went to Cyrusval. The difference was colossal. In the great halls of Middenheim, classical economics and statecraft were taught in a quiet environment, in a garden fenced off from the noise and bustle of the world, located in the distance.
Cyrusval was a noisy place, full of loud students, debating societies, and radical teachers. Home of Professor Willy Scherler, a Socialist who would later lead the Fight for a Better World in the woods of Angriver. So now, while Irene was learning the intricacies of profit maximization, Erich was being taught the internal contradictions of the capitalist mode of production.
Both Brother and Sister graduated with honors, allowing Irene to gain a prominent position in the family business, while Erich was considered a failure and expelled from the Family. Instead of teaching Business, Erich began teaching Social Sciences, where he made a significant contribution to the ever-radicalizing Faculty.
A sense of urgency and an atmosphere of change filled the red halls of Cyrusval as the Empire began to crumble, and to everyone's surprise, the students and faculty elected Mühschnabel, the most radical Candidate, as Rector in the10/107 election.
As the crisis in Griffenheim escalated, Erich managed to convince the National Government that he could mend the divisions in Yale society. Instead, he used his new power to prepare for a revolution.
The Mühschnabel Manor was one of the first buildings to be set ablaze in the ensuing violence.
