I believe in the discord arc backstory that had a good ending but well if i went by the g5 bible where they split up into their respective tribes that would mean AppleDash would have to say bye-bye to each other sooooo…yeaahhh

If i went by the g5 bible backstory, the mane 6 would be split apart into the three tribes to live inntheir respective places as shown in g5, sooo well AppleDash 😔

That would be a good reason if that was shown to be the cause. But everything shown about what happened was solely due to Opaline supposedly being just that OP, and the unexplained absence of the Elements/School of Friendship that stopped similar villains last time as opposed to anything relating to Twilight’s political experience.
Even the show bible draft, which confirmed the inexperienced, it never explained how it contributed such Twilight would have won otherwise. And with such a big detail absent from official media despite how much else made it in, there’s argument for that being non-canon like it’s other parts contradicted by the show, perhaps realizing it was too half-baked to work.
Note that Celestia’s greater political experience failed to make her more effective against the villains, her few wins were not due to politics. So there’s no reason to think she’d do better given how she practically always lost when onscreen.

How do we know the Cakes are still alive? I looked through the doc and found no reference to them.
In short, this is the sort of tragedy that could have made G5 compelling, if not for their failure to come up with a satisfactory/consistent cause of it.

Here’s another sad thing I just realized:
Going off the G5 bible, if Mr. And Mrs. Cake are still around at this point, that means that the two would have to go to Maretime Bay without Pound and Pumpkin, since their two children aren’t earth ponies. Not being near one of your kids is bad enough, but imagine being separated from all of them. I’m sure all four would see each other during the Unity Festival, but that’s still a tragic situation.

Good news for Appledash, the bible scenario is at odds with the show as rather then recharge separately as the bible states, the Crystal flat out don’t work unless united seemingly ruling this outcome out.
