Misty Brightdawn and Sunset Shimmer

: You’re gonna love Canterlot High, Misty. All different creatures in the student body getting along, it’s like a school of friendship. Let me show you the flower garden in the agriculture unit. It’s got lots of butterflies–

Misty: Butterflies? Princess! How’d you know I like butterflies?

: Um, your cutie mark gives it away.

This is my first drawing of Misty Brightdawn from “My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale”. Here she is a new student at Canterlot High School and Princess Sunset Shimmer, as the school’s New Student Ambassador, is showing Misty around the campus and making her feel welcome. Sunset dresses up and wears her tiara to formally welcome new students.

In my pony art Misty is a teenager and has always lived with her father Alphabittle Blossomforth, one of the many tea vendors for Princess Celestia. No Queen Opaline, abduction or child abuse in my artwork. Misty is a late bloomer with cutie marks; she just recently got hers and is very shy and embarrassed about it. Thankfully Sunset empathizes with her feeling awkward and out of place; they will get along just fine.
