Without getting into details or finger-pointing, political artwork started popping up on the site in light of a summer of elongated…unrest. Sides were taken, policies were enacted that the userbase didn’t like, someone ran to a news publication to label the fanbase as bad people because of one person’s OC, and suddenly a LOT of artists decided to jump from the fandom because they believed said fandom was taking a political stance.
What happened during the summer of 2020?
A wise lesson to heed if so given what happened during the summer of 2020.
