I can read the context of when this is written. Context of obvious political references. Well, I wonder how they’ll write about it.

The disclaimer they posted says it was not based on any real people or current events. They go in-depth on Patreon explaining it and how this storyline has been going on for two years, which checks out given we can go back and see it and how this story is a continuation of it all. The only thing they did plan was to have the resolution to this story arc end at our current election time.
