But please, lets not turn this into another one of those “consoles VS PC gaming” debates. Those are annoying.
“All these people” =/= “Everyone in this thread”.
Umm, how are we all talking about buying a new console, i see very little talk of that at all.
and I’m just over here, enjoying the same computer I’ve had for the last 6 years that I’ve only had to repair or upgrade twice. And using it to post my response on this board right now, because its a computer. It does lots of things, not just games, because it is actually meant to do those things.
Actually, I feel the same way, (heck I still enjoy 8-bit games) I’m just saying consoles need more then just “good graphics/power” is all.
Who cares about graphics?
I’m alone in this king of thinking… aren’t I?
We’re starting to reach a point where video game graphics aren’t going to get much better then they are now.
That statement is baffling.
What’s the last console that didn’t look like a box or box-like shape?
I’d also like to get a WiiU, since there’s a number of games I want for it (Sonic and Mario titles, mainly).
XBox One can suck it. It’s not the used game policy or even the always-online policy that cross my line (though those are really irritating), it’s the ever-spying Kinect. Given how schools are already known to have spied on students using school-issued laptops, there’s nothing preventing Microsoft from doing the same thing down the line, and selling/giving camera info to the government (or worse, Facebook and their ilk).
And not doing what Sega did, in the lae 90s they where sapporting five systems and two add-ons at the same time, only stopping when the Saturn came out.
Which follows a pattern of what Sony has done in the past, if they do that. They continued to support PSX for however many years past the release of PS2, then PS2 for years and years after PS3’s release.
Glad I am not the only one who thinks it looks somewhat like a PS2.
PS2 + PS2 = PS4
Don’t worry about that, they will continue support for it quite a few years even after the ps4 will be released or so they say.
The Xbox One, on the other hand, can kiss it.
