Description
Super-mini polymer clay ponies arranged on a quarter for scale. Clockwise from the top: Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack.
Each is 3mm (yes, millimeters) tall. They are made from Sculpey Bake and Bend and are painted with acrylic paint (applied with a size 000 brush). A lot of the details, like Rainbow Dash’s mane and Applejack’s hair ties, are sculpted, NOT painted on.
These little lovelies took about a half an hour each to make. I made these more as a novelty than anything else, an experiment to see just how tiny I could make ponies (and AJ has a hat. Take that, Hasbro). I will gladly make more if you’d like to incorporate them into a pendant. They are also roughly the correct size for blind bag ponies for a 1:12 scale doll.
