And while the news coverage over here is heavily slanted towards “Look, a new G4 thing”, G5 is getting licensing deals over there too. Blind bags and such.

I couldn’t find a full transcript that isn’t paywalled, but here’s the opening remarks, and they do include the comment about over 35 entertainment projects being in development. https://investor.hasbro.com/static-files/9e3b5663-b508-4837-93a9-8e75e33db192
There’s no mention of what any of those projects are. The only mention of MLP is that it’s seeing a resurgence in China and those Kayou cards are making good money. It’s just a guess that MLP is getting any of those projects, but come on. 35+ is plenty to go around, and you know it isn’t GI Joe getting all that. MLP is going to get at least one.
