Welp, Ive had the idea of drawing Fluttershy as Aurora in mind for a while now, how could I NOT draw this? It makes so much sense. I dont usually do anthros but I felt it fit, dresses are bit hard to draw on normal ponies and human!Fluttershy may have been hard to recognize off the bat.
 
All right originally this would be another fun MLP picture but then my imagination exploded and you get this:
 
Sleeping Beauty: MLP-ized
 
Once upon a time, Celestia wished to have a child. One day she was blessed with one and Canterlot rejoiced. It was a huge gala and the three magical unicorns came to bless the queen/princess filly. Rarity gave her the gift of beauty, and Twilight gave the gift of song. Before Trixie could do anything, Nightmare Moon appeared uninvited and cursed that the filly, Fluttershy as she was named - that if should she touch a needle from a spindle before her 16th years, she would die. The courts cried out in appall and Celestia called the guards to seize her but Nightmare disappeared. And so it was left to Trixie to lessen the curse, she made it so that instead Fluttershy would fall into a deep slumber and only wake when kissed by her true love.
 
Afterwards, the unicorns pondered how they could keep the young filly safe from Nightmare and came to a decision that they would raise her as their own. Celestia was sad but understood and so they went into the forest where Fluttershy would grow up for the next 16 years. On the day of her 16th birthday, the unicorns told Fluttershy to go out and collect berries so that they could secretly plan a surprise party for her. Rarity was in charge of the dress while Twilight did the baking and Trixiewell, she did something. Hilarity ensues. Trixie suggests they just use magic to make it easier and they agree.
 
Meanwhile! Fluttershy is in the forest with her animal friends and dreaming about her prince when behold! Rainbow Dash appears! They totally hit it off and return to their homes. But while this was happeningNightmares lackey Gilda had discovered their location and went on to report it. Fluttershy returns home and is pleasantly surprised by her surrogate mothers efforts then talks of her dream lover. Her hopes are dashed though when she finds out shes a princess and supposed to marry the prince today.
 
Applejack and Pinkie Pie talk about the princess and RD marrying today while Derpy the minstrel gets drunk. RD tells of her new love to Pinkie then runs off.
 
At the castle, when the unicorns leave Fluttershy alone, she is suddenly attracted to the spindle by Nightmares voice and pricks her hoof on it, falling into a deep slumber much to the trios distraught and the villains triumph. While the trio puts the whole of Canterlot to sleep for good measure they learn about RD and go to look for her.
 
But RD has been captured by Nightmare! So they go to her rescue. Nightmare is pleased about her victory and gloats to the captured RD. When she leaves, the trio frees RD and they escape the castle.
 
By way, Gilda gets turned into a stone. Nightmare finds out and goes after them. Suddenly, dragon-horses. But dont worry! RD manages to stab her in chest with the magic of friendship! sword. After that fight, RD goes to kiss Fluttershy and wakes her up hooray! Canterlot is restored to its glory and many parties were had. Everybody lived happily ever after.
 

 
I cannot believe I typed all of that but OH MY GOD MLP:FiM/Sleeping Beauty Best crossover idea ever. I should have pulled the drawing off bit better but OH WELP, its late confound them ponies inspiring art ideas past midnight.
