Day ten. Practicing drawing ponies as ponies instead of anthro. I feel like I’m finally figuring out how to do the Revolutionary Girl Utena jawline, with the pony muzzle, and the big round pony cheek, in a way that actually doesn’t look weird to me.

But, at the same time, it all looks weird to me. I have none of the “this is where the collar bone is on a human because that’s where the sternocleidomastoid attaches from around about the base of the ear” … because NO FREAKING COLLAR BONES on horses. Or ponies.

So … yeah. Feeling like I’m getting closer. But it also feels like I’m still absolutely completely making it up and only getting lucky if the end result in any way looks like a pony.

Also, yes, if you think you’re seeing a U-Jin style mouth there, your eyes aren’t fooling you. You are absolutely 100% are seeing that.

My only excuse is that someone interrupted me while I was enjoying U-Jin’s works in private and it has forever haunted me. That from-the-side mouth shape is like my muse. I hunger for it.

Ahhhh…..I already see that, Ciaran. :)

But, being on this amazing site is a lot of fun for me and you - it remembers as Sunset got the jealous rage that knows she said to Trixie OR herself. :) ^^

And … well, yeah - Sunset and Trixie ‘know each other’ … although it hasn’t always been a smooth relationship … there’s a lot going on there.

But that’s EQG and I wasn’t thinking about that for these sketches.

I do like to imagine though that Trixie and Twilight and Sunset were all in school together at the same time though :)

The only thing Trixie Lulamoon do - is how to be magnificent. :)

Just so you hear: Sunset also been friends with Trixie Lulamoon in our human world from Forgotten Friendship.

I remembered Wallflower erased all memories. :)
