As told by Ginger was good.Sure,it leaned more towards “High School Drama” but the characters and situations were believable and nicely executed.Plus,it was one of those few shows where the characters actually have different clothes every episode.
Winx club isn’t completely terrible, not was W.I.T.C.H.

Well, to be fair, Sonic Adventure 2 was originally released when there were only (ESRB) ratings of eC, E, T, M, and AO. So, it was riding a line that E10+ would later fill a role for. Since ratings are usually based on violence and gore instead of all the implications of death as weird as that sounds.
It’s the childish art style, I’m telling you. The censors just look at the colorful weirdness and say “yeah it’s fine” without getting into the really dark and heavy content and themes. I’m also convinced that’s how Sonic Adventure 2 got rated E.
