In other words, it is specifically made for pixel art so GIMP and photoshop are practically bloatware for pixel art.
Easier color palette control- indexed palettes updates instantly in a couple of clicks, and there is an easy color eraser tool. UI is also far less cluttered because it doesn’t have other tools not used in pixel art, possibly allowing for faster working speeds. Right-click color pick is useful too. Can also export and import sprite sheets.
