Yeah, again I think you should stick to the forums for this kind of thing. That other one really only gets a pass in my mind because it was uploaded before the forums existed. But hey, I’m not a mod. I can’t make you do anything. I can only share my opinion.
It depends on the fanfic in question and how amusing its premise is, in my opinon.

Maybe if it’s a unique piece of art that represents the story well, or you just do the promotion in the uploader description instead of the actual image, but simple screenshots of the page the fic is on seem more like something you should keep to the forums instead of the images. It just feels like the kind of meta post the forums were made to reduce.

Promotions, sure. Amusing/horrifying premises on the other hand fit in nicely here.
Because “gore” isn’t what turns a “Dark” story into a “Grim Dark” story at all
Again, to what end? They are already there and you can already block them if you want to, so what exactly would that gain?
They already have the gore warning, so what would be the point?
I wisht they would too. I enjoy psychological dark stories more than just violence and gore.
Fimfiction should separate the “Dark” tag into “Dark” and “Grim Dark”
I’m certain there are plenty of great fics out being avoided just because they had the “Dark” tag put on them when potential readers are just staying away because they don’t want to read something like “Cupcakes”
I feel the same.
I rather have lighthearted fanfics or comedy when it comes to ponies.
It’s not my preference when it comes to adorable ponies either.
Grimdark in the pony world just feels off to me.
