Wowzerz :o
I heard that it’d been the hottest day of the summer when we got there… The sun had gone down already, and there still were over +30°C… We went to Hooters, the beer taps were out of use there because of that. I ate the spiciest chicken wings I have ever eaten there. Tells something about the spiciness that when I took a morning shit, my arse was on fire… :p
@Aurora
Yeah, the view was pretty nice. What was the height you could get up on there? I think it was something around 470 meters. They were advertising the roof top walk adventure thingy there, it was just about to open, I think it was in 9 days, what they were saying when we were there. I don’t know if I’d have the guts to go up there :D
it was quite a few years ago when i went, so the glass wasn’t all that scratched. I mainly just went for the view, which i can still remember today.
I went there that year too! On the drive into Toronto, there was a huge thunderstorm and I saw the Tower get hit by lightning. It was almost as amazing as the line to go up and the price of a hamburger at the restraunt.
I were there once already, I think it was summer 2011. My dad paid the fun so that was no problem :J
The glass floor was kind of an disappointment, though. It was made of “squares” and were all scratched, so the illusion cracked straight away. Got couple of neat pictures of “standing on nothing”, anyway. =)
The night lighting on it was quite fancy too :9
Just gotta see if I’m gonna go there this time, if I even get to Toronto. Would be cool.
Sadly enough, I’ve been to Toronto many times but my vertigo prevents me from going up the tower. :-(
if you go to the CN tower, bring a lot of money, it’s damn expensive to get up there.
