You know if the Sunset Shimmer we have seen in Equestria Girls trailer is NOT the Sunset Shimmer from Equestria but the one from the “other world”, it would be interesting if it turns out Sunset Shimmer is Queen Chrysalis BEFORE she became Queen Chrysalis.
 
I know some people will say “Oh, then why did she not say anything to Celestia at the Wedding since she was a formal pupil?”, or “How come Celestia did not know who Chrysalis was if she was once her pupil?”
 
For the first question:
 
A) She lost all memory of who she once was when she transformed.
 
or
 
B) She wishes to forget her “old” life.
 
For the second question:
 
Perhaps for some reason Celestia was no longer a part of her life when she changed.

I like how we already have it tagged as Sunset Shimmer.
