Desperate Prayer - Sæla
-3072 EET-
“Why standest thou afar off, O Tree? Why hidest thou thyself in time of extraordinary crisis? The Wicked doth persecute the innocent: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. For the Wicked boasteth their hearts desires, and blessed the covetous, whom thou doth abhorreth… I ask of thee O Tree that ye doth not forsake us, as once thy divine light shone upon Sæla and all of thy creation. The war that wageth in the east doth not stop, the unrest in the south spreads ever closer the very capital of Canterlot. O Tree of Harmony forgive us of our sins so that ye might give us aid with thy blessing and halt the wicked from trespass evermore. Forgive us O Tree so that we may once more see thy light. Forgive us.”
A priest prays a desperate prayer in a church. Trees are planted in the main sections of churches to represent the Tree of Harmony.
