IMO, no. I don’t want the synopsis for the entire series to be “The journey of a girl born with a silver spoon to become a goddess”. I much prefer this part of the story be done and the series as a whole focus on something else, preferably another character.
 
It is the “main six” after all, not “Twilight and those other five”. And, heavens forbid, we could even have new characters in the show or deal with some of the secondary ones.

People whining on a forum/board/whatever don’t mean squat; the vocal minority always make themselves appear to be bigger than they are, and in this case many of them were just trolling for the sweet sweet dramas.
 
I for one prefer they get over with this ascension thing so we can get back to ponies and don’t have the constant buildup and blatant “Twilight is The Chosen One” every few episodes. Now it’s there, it’s done, we can move onto something else.

No, I have liked Celestia and Luna throughout the series. I admit I was a little conflicted when I saw Luna’s new look, but I never flat out hated or disliked it. I didn’t like how Cadance was an alicorn, or how she appeared to have no flaws, but I continue to tolerate her. Alicorn Twi, however… well let’s just say I’d rather have the episode end at her implied death.

Uh, yes? Maybe I’m just jaded as hell, but Twilight’s been The Chosen One so hard since day one Lucas and Rowling would’ve told the writers to tone it the hell down.
 
There’s a reason there were hundreds of images with Twilight as an alicorn made well before S3 was even confirmed.

I personally would go to Hasbro and make them eat rusty spoons. They have made good segments of the fandom go haywire and made one of the oddest episodes in the whole season, so by gods they need to develop that further in an organic way.

Twi’s been on the path to alicornhood since the first episode. If anything I’m honestly surprised it didn’t happen in S2.

why the hell would anyone leave the fandom becuase twi turned to an alicorn, in my view if Hasbro make a season 4, twi may turn back to her oldself in the first episode, or something else turns out
