That or it may turn out that Equestria Girls is a Magical Girl Show instead of a High School Drama, and when hey have to fight evil they transform.
Perhaps they styled there hair to cover there human ears. Also the angle of there heads could be helping in covering them up in this pic.
Where are their human ears? Everyone except for the Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy dopplegangers should have their human ears showing, judging from other pics of the characters.

They just edited the wings out in this pic because it would partially cover up some of the characters ( Ex. Fluttershy’s wings would cover up part of Dash, and Twilight’s wings would cover up part of Fluttershy ).
Would not be surprised when the final version of the dolls are release they have the wings and ears as accessories.

I think they do wear fake pony ears at some point ( and fake wings as well they just edited them out in this pic because it would partially cover up some of the characters ( Ex.
