Nobody knows how to land.
That’s not how you talk to people, you duck.
Ah, I’ll haveta check out the link now.
I can’t exactly answer that myself as I still remember every single cheat code I ever learned.
Maybe ‘gamers’ are lazy nowadays.
SF2’s controls are really clunky and stiff, honestly. It may have been neat at the time, but by today’s standards its a struggle to get your character to do anything.
I own Street Fighter 2, and Killer Instinct, and I can still hardly play either game honestly.
@Blackie
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, and start.
Street Fighter normalized a lot of these moves- it’s normally D,F + P for the standard projectile. D,F,DF + P for the standard AA, and so on. After playing most fighting games for a few minutes, it should be easy to beat a button masher if you pay attention to the mechanics as you play.
Quarter circle forward, dragon punch motion, half circle backwards, double quarter circle forwards, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata… typical Fighting games jargon.
Me to, I never understood how you’re supposed to play “button-masher” fighting games… I don’t understand how people remember how to “Push up, up, down, A, B, X, Y, Z, diagnolly, B to throw a fire ball!” It’s like memorizing a bunch of cheat codes. How do people do that?
I prefer fighting games with simpler control schemes like Smash Bros. & Punch-Out.
How do they work.
You’ve got excellent aim.
but with my face.
But instead of hooves I smash with my fists on the buttons.
