Ah indentations” My cursed enemies. I’ve fought them when i did dictation in small Italy elementary school(salutoni dall’italia Cavallini e Cavalline); I’ve fought them in hihg school having my ass kicked and bullied for having said once that I liked TMNT(apparently once in high school only accepted arguments are “all womens are whores”, “Porn in all sauce and colors” and of course “Sport-mostly soccer”). And i’ve fought them, times and times again, while dealing with typing mistakes.  
Mistakes caused by imperfect rhythm between my left and right hand (left hand is more precise while right hand is faster but clumsier).  
And, honestly, I do understand that my outrage toward EqG is, perhaps, excessive BUT I think that every human being are allowed to express their disappoint toward what they do not like, even if no one listen to them. Is the only way to not going insane in an universe completely, totally, definitally, hostile and not under your control.  
Look from my perspective: even if i whine, yell, send e-mail and else, I won’t be able to stop EqG, to make Hasbro re-think even a small detail. I won’t be able to do any significant thing about the entire situation. If i’m not allowed to express my disappointment, untill i finally get a sort of inner closure, what else is left to me?

You’re talking about a show that is taking colorful, talking ponies, and making them into humans. Doing the same to a character such as Chrysalis really isn’t that much different a move, imo.

Ok if was a”supernatural” or “buffy the vampire slayer” series, yes human-like chrysalis could work, as per the changeling. You could even give her the topical mangled insectoid look that IS Part of who/what she is. But as nromal human teacher she is pointless, make no sense.

Sadly EqG made me realize tha tall humanized art of whatever subject, not just pony, simply do not work that well. Chryssi as human simply do not work. unless you got for zombie/lich thing she just …don’t work…graphically aand thematically don’t. Same for humanized donald duck, or humanized scrooge mcduck or god forbid humanized Sonic. Just don’t work , uless you change everything that make a character what it is.

I always imagined Chrysalis as the guidance counselor who gives all the wrong advice.
