Plus the shows’s already over and fans can do what they want in fan art.
Didn’t one of the show’s writers confirm that Celestia has loved and lost and will never love again?
Just because she’ll outlive most lovers by many lifetimes doesn’t mean that love for one lifetime isn’t worth it.
I doubt Celestia would even want to date anypony given the fact she’ll just outlive them by a thousand years.
Like I said, the options for dating someone her age are very limited.
