Jack is nothing like his mother, Pinkie Pie. The only thing they share is blind optimism. No matter what, Jack won't let anyone take the wind out of his sails, he's too happy for that. He's too ready for whatever the world throws his way... you'd almost think he takes his sisters gummies- but he doesn't! (All the time, at the very least) He just simply enjoys life and other ponies. But besides that, he's very lax and likes to go with the flow, letting things happen to him. He's a firm believer in fate, and sometimes fate isn't ready for you to find a job! Or new friends....
Jack enjoys spending time with all of his family- even though it is quite large. Him, his cousin Counting Sheep, and his girlfriend, Strawberry Chiffon Shortcake are their own mini little group that wanders around Ponyville together. Often popping in Sugar Cube Corner to see their moms (minus Sheep) or going to each others houses to hang out. His life is pretty mundane. He still hasn't really shifted away from being a teenager in school.
