I suppose it depends on subject. Twist is a sempai in Cutie Marks. Applejack would be her sempai in apple and farming management (Big Mac and Granny Smith being Applejack’s sempai and all three’s sensei). I guess Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo would be sempais in Cutie Mark searching?
That might be misconstrued as transphobia.
