I know some would say “it’s porn, out doesn’t have to make sense,” however you make some very good points. The first chapter was good because it was erotic but also not entirely unbelievable. The twins run a legitimate spa, but they will sometimes choose to do sexual things with their most valued clients. It’s a high-class establishment, but if they like you enough you can enjoy more “intimate” services that they don’t offer to just anyone.
 
Like you said though, as soon as part two came along, Pyruvate basically just stated writing the spa as a straight up whorehouse, with the spa part being nothing major than a front. They barely even make any effort to hide what kind of business they are running, and the spa fanservice ends up being non-existent. Prostitution fetish and masseuse fetish have some crossover appeal, but masseuse fetish is more than just prostitution fetish with a massage parlor as window dressing.
 
If Pyruvate wanted to just write about prostitution, he should write about Cherry Jubilee’s “cherry farm.” It’s already a popular fanon concept that she rooms a house of ill repute, and there’s not enough fan content for her anyway.

That’s somewhat the same reasoning I have for why The Usual after the first part has gone down hill for me.
 
In the fist part the sex was a private and secretive thing. Before that Aloe and Lotus were giving Dash the regular and legit spa treatment. Showing that it’s a spa first. The sex was a special add-on.
 
Then comes part two and as soon as AJ finds out Dash will be servicing her she immediately jumps to dominating Dash sexually as if she somehow already knew what goes on there. Despite having no indications as such before hand. She even easily finds a sex toy in some random drawer, and I’m pretty sure they weren’t in the VIP room at that time.
 
In part 1.5 just asking for the VIP treatment is enough to give you it. At that point it’s no longer a special or secret thing, and the spa is nothing but a common whore house.

I think I’ll be removing it from my watched list until I can confirm that it’s gone back to what made it good (spa hijinx).
 
Masseuse fetish and S/M are pretty much at polar opposite ends of the fetish spectrum. This chapter is something that belongs in some sleazy house of ill-repute, or maybe some shady character’s basement– not a high-class establishment like the Ponyville spa. If sex happens in the spa, it’s as a component of the overall pampering experience.
 
The switch over to sadism has pretty much rendered the spa setting entirely frivolous, because the two fetishes are not complimentary. The clean and luxurious environment of the spa is hardly interchangeable with that of a seedy “pleasure dungeon.”

Some ball gags have an additional strap that goes under the chin which would be connected to those hoops.
 
But my best bet for gags without the chin strap would be that because the strap with the hoops is not one whole piece, it doesn’t cut into the sides of the mouth so much when tightened, allowing for a more comfortable, but just as effective gag. I would show examples but they’re saved on my Pc and I don’t have a link to them, plus I’m not 100% sure the rules would allow me to post them if I did.

I think those are just supposed to be ‘marks’, not cuts. Pyruvate just chose the wrong colour.
