Maybe it’s a regional thing, but I always think of soccer as a European game and softball as the kids’ game.
Soccer has a stigma in America as a kid’s game. You could pass as that.
It just kind of strikes me as funny. They act like what a person wears is the most important part of the person and somehow represents who they are on a base level or something. Isn’t being against having clothing mean something what most advocates of better role models should do? Why does it matter if a character is wearing a skirt, jeans, a frilly dress or a muddy shirt? Shouldn’t you be idolizing the character, not the costume?
I’m American. Can I pose as a baseball mom instead?
Any takers?
7/7 asses.
Now that you mention it, you’re right. What about them? Hell, they’re probably making them feel like shit.
0/10.
Again, can someone remind me how saying “this is a terrible role model for girls” is good for the self-esteem of girls who genuinely want to be like that?
I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE ANGER I’M FELLING RIGHT NOW
Have we gotten to a point where we need every form of media to have some sort of physical “real-life” fitting otherwise it’s terrible? It kind of reminds me of the whole Merida thing. I could understand if she weren’t an independent person or something, but this I don’t get.
How about if you want people to idolize character and not physical form, you don’t DRAW ATTENTION TO IT? Jesus christ.
“Unless a little girl wants to like fashion or a boy monster trucks, that’s them just being smothered!”

…HOLY SHIT.
It’s called “the nuclear option.” I’m expecting it to happen when the film gets closer to release.
Seriously…
Kinda like the fanservice witch hunt.
The comments there seems to take it very seriously for the article to be a satire.
I noticed a minute or so after posting.
This is a satire.
