Well, I think people can draw them however they want, and I’ve seen some pretty “unique” humanized & anthro’ versions, and designs of MLP characters personally. If everyone just drew them as ponies, then it would just be the same fanart over, and over. I like variety, and seeing MLP characters drawn in different styles sometimes.  
I used to not care for humanized/anthro’ MLP fanart either, but it’s kinda grown on me.
 
Also, not every brony is a “clopper.” :P

I’m against them because there are already SO many other places to get your fix of them. Ponies are unique, and should stay that way. Frankly, I also think that people who “humanize” are self-ashamed cloppers.

I like humanized, and anthro’ fanart. :( (As long as they aren’t to perv’y.) I don’t get why some bronies are so against those. (“Equestria Daily” is even reluctant to post that stuff in their “drawfriend” articles. …Yet, pictures of pony butts are “ok” for some reason.)
 
Besides, I kinda doubt that’s the reason they made E.G. It’s kinda silly to assume that.

Yep, that’s why I’ve always disliked humanized and anthro. Keep pony pony, get your humans and anthros elsewhere.

As others have said, the “fuss” is that this IS canon.

While FiM isn’t “overly girllified,” it does still have some “girllish” things in it, (fans forget) and there’s nothing wrong with that.  
I mean, remember the episode focusing on Rarity making dresses for her friends, and such? It’s still a beloved episode even though it focuses on girly stuff like “fashion,” but it also focuses on universal things like Rarity’s “creativity,” her career as a strong business woman, as well as her “generous” attitude, desire, and pressures to please her friends, and such.

Brackets was merely stating my personal opinion, Trixie’s character is bland and unappealing to me, and the majority of Trixie apologists are all tainted by fanon, even her redemption was half baked.  
Also no one asked for ponies to live in the world of humans, a lot of questions about humans in their world though.

Trixie returning and being redeemed was one of the biggest if not THE biggest Brony request. (Bronies also wanted a Scootaloo ep which they gave us)

References, Trixie returning for a magic duel(I never asked for this), Luna being the sandman, they are all themes that are already present in the show as a land of magic and adventure.  
This is a complete 180 degrees from that.

you do realize that they pay attention to the fandom, they’ve seen humanized ponies so they thought “That’s what the fandom likes so we’ll give them Equestria Girls”
 
In short we’re the reason it was made.

Well here’s a few things, this isn’t a fanfic, this is from the producers themselves, it reflects their aims and goals for the series, we have limited data but right now it doesn’t look good, its pointing to the opposite of what the audience wanted.  
Second thing is that its the first movie of this series and its going to reflect an outward appearance of what to expect. When someone says ‘why do you watch that show its just mindless girly stuff’ I can give them examples of how that’s not true, and now they can counter with how very true it is.
 
As a tl;dr, they can do whatever they want with the series but if this goes the route were expecting then I don’t want to be affiliated as a fan at all and thus they’d be losing me personally as a customer.

Hahahaha yeah no. Season 3 had 13 episodes because it’s easier to package shows in 65’s to other countries than anything else. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how it is.

Wasnt there a fic called “A Princess for a President” where Obama has sex with Celestia? Doesnt Obama have a family and wife already?

Don’t worry, I’ve heard Season 5 will have 39 episodes!

The problem is that we lost out on 13 episodes of season 3 for the production of this. Regardless of whether or not its good, 70 minutes of movie does not make up for the 13 22 minute episodes that we lost for it.
