I want you to consider the setting of EqG for, like, a SECOND. From what we’ve seen in the previews, it is:
 
  1. Generic teen drama
     
    …Aaaaand that’s it.
     
    Brad is a large part of the issue, with being a cliché romantic interest. They even meet in the most cliché of ways possible.
     
    Also, this is a reference to the parody videos.
