Nice track, although the drums might not be period correct. If I remember correctly, the drums you use in this cover is a TR-909, which is used in the more modern music from the 90s and newer
If you want a true 80s drum sound, try some Linn 9000 or TR-707. This is the same kind of drums used in the Rickroll
