Because pirates have come who donate to artists and give out this content for free on the web, a large PBX in VK because only people from the Russian Federation can register in VK for the second year. And the administration does not care about moderation, because in Russia, as in the USSR, there is no copyright.

Because this is a bad way to promote paywalled content, people have disliked this form for more than a decade. Crops and zooms give us a little taste and we’re fine with that, but this is pretty blatant and kind of insulting to the audience. It’s like giving somebody a book but then tearing out the last, most exciting chapter and asking for money for it. It’s basically saying (Though this is not your intent), “Yeah I know this is what you want, gimme money and I’ll let you see it.”
The downvotes are not because it’s an ad or because it’s paywalled, but because of format of the censorship itself. I’m not just pulling this out of my ass; this form of censorship was ALLL over the place when Patreon first came out, but these days you hardly see it anymore. There’s a good reason for that.
