We should really remove some of the ‘unnamed pony’ tag from characters long given names. The circled characters all have names by now.

Well, Hayseed, Bon Bon, and Carrot Top are family friends.  
Flounder and Dizzy Twister are propably married to the stallions next to them.  
Helia and Cloudchaser are pegasi, and propably here just to “clear” the weather.  
Lucky Clover and Cherry Berry propably just heard some noise and went to look.  
And Shoeshine is just a creep that wants to stare at Lucky Clover s’ plot.

Married into the family, I can buy that except for two. Mr. Greenhooves could be a family friend. As for Cloudchaser, she could of been assigned to keep the skies clear for the reunion.

bon bon married into the family, but sadly the guy was an asshat and bon bon had a profound moment of self-understanding. The other apples also disliked the guy, and so choose to invite bon bon to family gatherings instead of him

sigh you know most people point out animation error s that are humorous or major ones.  
Apart form the tail, something I do believe was point out within minutes of the scene’s broadcast, none of this is something that’s a big deal.
