I always thought the pins were entirely painless to him thanks to his mighty dragon scales so I guess that’s the reason I don’t find it as cruel… It didn’t look painful when they did it in the show after all.

If the artist didn’t like Spike, they There were two methods the artist could try! don’t draw Spike, or draw a nomal pincushion! There was no need to treat Spike this poorly! Some people feel that the directing of the needle sticking a needle into poor Spike was cruel!

Why does it matter if the artist dislikes Spike? I think he looks pretty cute here personally.
