And yeah, there are alot of fanon names for this one. Especially, sense surprisingly, she was kinda forgotten after her bried (and obscured) cameo in Season 2.
They did reuse the character model for Season 4 ep’ “Pinkie Pride,” in a flashback to when Cheese & Pinkie were young.

Oh yeah, everyone’s free to explain her appearance however they see fit; I’m just trying to spread awareness of the non-explanation explanation.
Could be just relatives of her’s, or perhaps Derpy is older then we think, but of course fans have alot of crazy/amusing theories about these incidents, involving time-travel, and such. (Considering fans like to associate Derpy with “Doctor Whooves.”)
Regardless, I’d actually like to see the Derpy-like filly again.
Given that Derpy’s appeared full-grown in Twilight’s flashback in “The Cutie Mark Chronicles” and yet participated in the Best Young Fliers Competition in “Sonic Rainboom”, I’m sticking with my theory that that was the real Derpy in “The Cutie Pox”.
There are several fanon names for her, but the one I prefer is the one the “Pinkie Pie Solutions” tumblr gave her. “Dreamy.”
