Unfortunately I can’t really test on phones; mine can barely run Snake, much less a web browser. All I can recommend is logging in to the site via the https address, then manually going to the http one.
As for the time, the “x time ago” thing takes the time from your system; if for some reason it’s blocked from doing so it’ll probably say something crazy. Hovering over the text will tell you the exact time, but I don’t think you can hover over anything with a smartphone =/
And for the art stuff, I really don’t know; all I do is vectors, and for original vectors 2 or 3 hours seems like not much at all. I’m sure most of the “fast artists” will be happy to talk with you about the stuff they did to get to help them get to where they are.
the problem persists in all smartphones browsers but it seems the web works fine in the pc.
i always sketch practice when i have enough time to do it, i always cared for improve on my “art style” than the coloring but when i try to color a picture, it took me like 2 or 3 hours to finish it before getting sick of sitting in front of my pc.
i also have a problem with the time the sitie tells when a picture is uploaded. instead of say 10 minutes or 5 minutes ago, it always say it was uploaded 16 hours ago. same happens with the comments.
Argh. The certificates thing should’ve been fixed; at the very least we did a whole lot to fix it and can’t reproduce it anymore. What browser are you using, and are you seeing it on others?
Also, I still don’t get how people can finish a picture in less than a day ¬_¬ All I can recommend is to do what I’ve seen some other artists do, stuff like sketch dumps with no particular goal, or draw a character in 20 different poses expressions. Some artists also like to stream work, I guess because the pressure of having others seem them work helps. But I really don’t know -_-
regardless of beig fast, i think the reason of the inconsistency of my “art style” is because i dont know how to improve it. i been drawing silly sketches for a long time and i still dont get how someone can finish an entire picture in less than 30 minutes.
i was wondering if are you going to fix this certificate problem?, i cant log in without the javascrpit deactivated.
I don’t think you are. You just seem to publish more fast sketches than before. The “full” pieces you do every so often are still great.
man i’m okay with people who do trace n stuff but this ain’t cool
theft not cool man
Of deviantArt, yes.
Of Derpibooru, no.
But I’m adding the “art theft” tag until the “artist” doesn’t explain himself.
so is this against the rules or something
Eh, I’m usually more alert and aware of whether something I upload is original or not. Just a bit disappointed…
@Zombie_Trotsky
Why? It’s not like it’s your fault.
Yes! And no reference on the source page.
Maybe someone should give that guy a “hint”?
@The Smiling Pony
I done messed up. :c
That’s because it’s a trace of Zev’s
And it’s not by this gammawave21 dude.
