yeah me too… there is one thing though: if the show and movie don’t suck monkey tits then it brings in a higher possibility of The Doctor ending up in the show. considering that it’s supposedly a “non existent pocket dimension”(from the rumors I’ve heard) then it would both be somehting interesting to him, and the fact taht the ponies have managed to essentially create a really freaking huge TARDIS would be quite interesting.

Also, I am curious on why the mane 6 get ears and wings, and everybody else doesn’t. Do they get magical pony powers to fight bad guys or what? And on another note, does her doppleganger exist in this universe?

I believe I’ve overheard someplace the art and story is by The Studio, so again it should be alright. I believe in Harvey Dent. :D

The reason why is that people find these movies fun is the fact that the dialogue, story, acting and charecters are all laughably bad.
 
This film is (most likely) being made by people who know what they are doing, and it may be a suprisingly good film. (I bet most of you reacted the same way when Friendship is Magic became popular).

Those are two movies I have never watched without Rifftrax support. Well, that and anything in the Twilight series…

Maybe if we get lucky, they’ll pull a Bioshock Infinite-style ending (not describing it because spoilers, people know what I mean) with a bunch of AU Twilights.

It… kinda is. It’s all about Twilight crossing into an alternate universe to retrieve some Crystal Empire Regalia.

There’s nothing “filler” about it, it’s intended to help kick off their new toy line, and likely to help test the waters before investing 100% into its own full-fledged series.

There have been other MLP movies, particularly involving the earlier generations. Some were bad, some were good…okay that’s probably a longshot, but you get the point.

When the heck was this slaighted for the Theaters? I thought it was understood to be a filler till S04?

Well, Ponify is annoying me now. Trying to remember “Equestria Fillies” is supposed to be “Equestria Girls” hurts my brainballs. X_X
 
Apologies, anyway, eventual previews will show how well they look on-screen. At the least, we know it won’t have G3-style animation but will have a G4-/Pound Puppies-style. Meaning it might flow right fine. Plus, Hasbro and HUB likes to bang on about the animation team who are, last I checked, our ages.
 
So far, nothing concrete indicates, to me at least, this will disappoint, at least, the intended audience. Therefore, the unintended audience of girly men will find it passable, likely. :T
