(Sorry for the Hamilton reference, it’s the first title I thought of and my brain refused to think of anything else)

Anyways, I had this cute little idea as to how Star Tracker and Pistachio would meet, so here it is!
The boys met at the Grand Galloping Gallop, Star Tracker being a member of Princess Twilight’s family and Pistachio Rarity’s plus one.
This was Star Tracker’s first Big Event after officially being adopted by Twilight Velvet and Night Light and of course he wanted to impress. Similarly, Pistachio was just starting out designing for Rarity and so badly wanted to show the Canterlot elites he was more than just some “charity case” his mentor had taken on. He was gonna show up and show OUT; Turn heads! And heads he did turn, especially the head of our young Star Tracker here.
From the moment he first laid eyes on the acorn farmer, Star was SMITTEN. He’s also, however, severely socially anxious. He couldn’t even work up the courage to approach the boy. Does it all work out in the end? I think we know the answer to that….
