The book it’s quoting, Paper Towns, is partially about how people are not really larger-than-life figures and everyone has basic human weaknesses of some kind. That’s what the quote is referring to. In this context, I imagine Twilight is reminding people not to view her as “more than a pony” just because she’s a princess now.

hrm? I guess the idea that alicorns are considered to be superior beings as top tier ponies and only alicorns are allowed to be princesses since that’s the only thing we’ve seen?
