I saw the movie Wicked the other day, and this is all I could think of when it got to Defying Gravity.

My only complain about this is that it cuts the final note of Defying Gravity short. I wonder if any of the people who wore costumes of the G4 characters, for different stage shows/appearances, ever did anything like this.

I think the singing is a recording. I can recognize Idina Menzel’s voice. That’s a shame but still funny how they’re goofing around in these suits.

Makes you glad G4 was created we could’ve always had this instead.
Agreed.
I’ve stated in the past on this site that I think Lauren Faust created something smarter and better than the previous generations, but I’ve gotten hate for that opinion (and probably will again).

The cast of the actual My Little Pony Live show, goofing around between shows. This was filmed in 2007 in El Paso Texas prior to one of the performances of the real show.
Thistle Whistle is belting out “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from “Dreamgirls” and Pinkie Pie and Minty are singing “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked”!
