There is nothing to indicate that she’s lying or that this isn’t truth from her point of view. Sun and Moon move by itself, weather work by itself and Windigos are gone along with powerfull non pony villains. Opaline is the real rightfull god of this realm.

Lost In Con Spaces
Misty had cracked the shell earlier that day by doing what she wanted. Now Opaline is trying to harden up that crack and shove her back further into the subservient self that Opaline wants her to be.
This hurts to watch, and I want to see Misty overcome the abuse.
Also, y’all should check out “Anorexic Sunny”—it’s equally as heartbreaking and hits deep.
