“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary”
- Karl Marx
Or you’re just deep in denial and wishful thinking by trying and failing to reconciliate your idealized vision of capitalism with its dysfunctional reality, as you admitted yourself earlier.
Again, would have to write a manifesto, but I know I’m right
I agree, the prevailing economic theorists are fucking stupid, they peddle the preservation of the late-stage capitalist status quo. But if you’re not going to provide an alternative than you haven’t discovered “the truth”. Pick up a book that isn’t Rand or Mises for once.
Not particularly, no. I’d have to write a manifesto to get all my thoughts down. By they, I meant all the “experts” and venture corporatist douchbags who probably fed you that false information and silenced the truth. I only pray you find out the truth like I have, brother. Peaces
Care to elaborate? “Their stupid definition” Who’s they and what’s “their” definition of capitalism?
And what’s the superior version you advocate for, and how does it address the problems that lead to monopoly?
Well, I reject their stupid definition and substitute my superior version.
Well the forces that define capitalism (Private enterprise, market economics and the profit motive) lead to monopolisation. You can’t just say “This isn’t TRUE capitalism”. Capitalism isn’t perfect, this is one of the worst aspects of it.
That’s just a load of horse apples that they wrote. TRUE capitalism should allow for a sizable market with competition. Monopolies have no place in capitalism
Capitalism tends towards monopoly, as beating out the competition is always the most profitable strategy, there isn’t a solution to this, it’s what happens in a market economy. Where there’s competition, there’s winners, and the winner takes the losers market share garnering more profit to push advantage over more competitors and expand the business to make more money. This tends towards monopoly, corporations so big and rich they can influence governments.
Meh. I like the idea of capitalism because I believe in freedom of choice. But a lot of capitalists don’t seem to agree with the correct definition of capitalism, and run out small businesses so they can dominate all markets. I don’t know how to solve this, tbh and it kinda keeps me up at nights
People that support cops have no right here
@Background Pony #83D0
And even just in the last 5-10 years, all stories we heard of cops killing civilians, only for the offending officers to receive little more than slaps on the wrist, with nothing being done to prevent other pigs from taking more innocent lives.
Not to mentioning the severe siphoning of public funds

im not gonna get too into it bc its a whole big as topic but:
-Cops are there to protect property not people, they have no obligation to help (yes really)
-cops react to crime, not prevent it
-the force protects those that abuse their power and those that go against it are no longer cops. (one bad apple spoils the whole bunch after all)
she got that old by not trusting cops
Considering their miles-long lines for cider each season, there is no way in hell they wouldn’t arm themselves against Celestia
