The impression I get from this is that Twilight is facehooving over the sheer existence of the movie Quest for camelot. Lauren worked on camelot and didn’t like it.

Quest for Camelot’s not a bad story, but it definitely could use less singing, even if the songs themselves are moderately enjoyable.
I think we would have had a movie that would have been on the lines of Ralph Bakshi’s Wizards if WB didn’t try to Disnify this.
