pokie- or “poppy” as everyone calls her- has a knack for a very special type of magic. it’s not rare, but it’s not common, either. her mane frizzes up when she channels her magic in her horn, letting off a slight sparkle… and once she’s released it, a bright beam of starry sparkles streams out, and they’re tangible! like a swarm of parasprites, sometimes she rides on her bursts of sparkly light, high up in the night sky, for everypony to watch and enjoy. when the sparkles run out, they give a brilliant burst of light- like a firework!- and she floats back down safely from whatever height she may have been.

nobody knows aurora’s true name. rumor has it she’s sent from the princess herself, but no one knows where exactly she came from. nobody’s scared of her, either, so she has good company in the town of ponyville. nobody knows, but nobody particularly minds, either. her talent is magical manipulation of plants- bringing them to life to do her bidding or simply, to be. it’s a life magic. she’s studying to maybe further its use…

prisma’s mane is naturally white, but she loves rainbows too much not to dunk her mane and tail in it. she asks sparkling skies to bring down a cloud with liquid rainbow in the middle, for her to keep that glorious color. she’s very laid-back, working as the mare who organizes inbound and outbound mail in the post office. she’s a great listener, but when she does speak up, she’s always got something good to say.

crystal clear is a cow pony hybrid. she does have a cutie mark, but it’s naturally covered by a flank marking! she works at the same post office as prisma; she carries things in her naturally-coiled tail, like a cocoon for whatever parcel she may need to deliver! if you hear her jingling collar emerald, you know your package has arrived! she’s very chipper after a childhood struggling with the insecurity of being such a hybrid, and tries to make sure everyone she comes across feels important.
