The firstborn of Zecora and Big Mac and Zecora’s heir.

Along with her twin brother, Amani was born to the queen of the rebellion, Zecora. She adored her aunt Applebloom but her father kept her from her other aunt. Her brother would often sneak away with her for “training sessions” while Amani learned how to lead her future subjects from Zecora. As much as she enjoyed her training, she was a total daddy’s girl. Big Mac adored both his foals but was closer to his daughter. She loved working with plants in the underground garden and it’s where she got her cutiemark. She wanted to learn how to use herbs to heal. She found a book by Mage Meadowbrook and if not with her parents she is trying out new poultices and herb combinations in the garden. After her mother gets sick with Swamp Fever after going to the surface, she leaves the underground for the first time to find a cure. She meets a centaur and his sister. Mythical Morpheus and Luster Dawn were sent to find their sister Cozy Glow after a spell gone wrong. However, they weren’t from here and had no idea where they had been teleported to. Amani agreed to help them if they helped get the cure for her mother. Amani befriended Morpheus while Luster Dawn tried to keep them apart and her attempts to divide the two had the opposite effect. After she got the cure and took it back to her mother Amani was forbidden to leave again. But Amani was drawn back to the surface. It was full of life and magic unlike down in the underground. With the help of Tufaka, Amani escaped again. By the time she reunited with Morpheus he and his sister had found Cozy Glow. Morpheus admitted that he was supposed to return to his realm with his parents but did not want to leave Amani. He wanted her to come with him. Amani knew she had a duty to her family and subjects and needed to go home eventually. For now, Morpheus could cast a spell to visit her during the night in her dreams, but they had their own worlds to return to.
