Yes, well done I was waiting for somebody to say that
Only on the Internet can we go from cutesy shipping drawings to mathematical summations in five short comments. It’s a beautiful place sometimes, is Derpibooru.
Also, I feel the need to apologise for my first comment on this image. God, I made so many derps and incorrect assumptions there it’s untrue. I really am sorry. I promise I’m not as massive an idiot as that post made me out to be :D.
True. I never expected someone here to actually make a valid critique about my LaTeX code.
I remember another post here that got a well-informed conversation about the evolution of biosynthesis.
That’s one really nerdy conversation…
Actually, I know. I just thought it would look cooler.
Don’t you know that the use of $$ is deprecated in favor of [ and ] ?
Messed up the slashes and backslashes. Damn. Replace every “" with “/”
in LaTeX.
Should have been
$$1 + 2/sigma_{x = 1}{\infty} /frac{12}{x2}$$ which converges to 1 + 4 \pi2
Nope. The sum index is n, whereas the argument as x.
I’m by no means an expert, but I think it’d come out to be undefined. It’s basically attempting to sum up an infinite range of values that, on either side, approach positive and negative values that are infinitesimally small, then adding one. “n” isn’t even defined in the summation, so I’m pretty sure it’s either undefined, or an illegal equation.
But apparently it’s equal to twidash, so y’know, I’m okay with this.
Dunno, am neither good at math or in love stuff. You need to ask an expert. :P
