I guess the next thing to have is slim dedicated capslock key (where one tap will only capitate the first letter and double for locking caps lock) on the left side of the key and probably one or more on the right side of the keyboard to have macro key to call frequently used ctrl + ‘x’ functions or other macro function
And have the left key as an arrow key of sort when the right one isnt pressed.
For the mice i guess they can use one of those drawing tablet as an alternative

It is not specified here, but let’s say there is a position that corresponds to our “backspace” button. It is possible to press only one button in the center. And on the other button there is a space in the same way.
A design like this could also have the benefit of using the “neutral state” of the modifier key (in this case the left one) for the 8 most common inputs so they’d be easy to access but not be as likely to cause jamming or uneven wear as if they were grouped in one direction, which is an important factor to consider given we’re basing this off of typewriters.
I don’t think it will be really convenient with hooves, for such a thing some kind of lever would probably look better than a button, because in fact it is not one, but 8 buttons.
Or OrbiTouch.
I will assume that this information will be contained in the user manual. After all, the symbols are also not write out on the buttons.
Oh, I kind of understand how this works now, but how do you know which side of the key is which?
